IELTS 8.0
a TESOL qualification from Trinity College London
Profile
Hi, my name’s Bayu and I have been an English teacher for the last 12 years. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in English Language Education, a TESOL qualification from Trinity College London, and now I am doing my Master’s degree in Educational Leadership.
Teaching has always been my passion. I started my teaching career in 2007 at IALF Bali where I taught General English, Indonesian Language Program, Teacher Training course, and IELTS preparation course. Three years later, I embarked on a journey to Australia as a Teaching Assistant where I assisted a public school in developing its Bilingual Program.
From 2013 to 2015 I was involved in several educational projects both in Papua and North Sumatera where I mentored new English teachers and lecturers. In 2016, I worked at PT. Freeport Indonesia’s school as a Language Training Specialist. Currently, I am providing professional English training services for hotels, restaurants, and companies in Bali.
In my opinion, the best tip for learning English is not to be shy, to use it as much as possible while learning it, listen to the music in that language, immerse yourself in the culture and be playful. The most important of all, “Do not be afraid of making mistakes, they are proof that you are trying.” 🙂 Let’s have fun while learning English. Hope to see you soon.

Kalau saya salah menggunakan tata bahasa ketika belajar bagaimana?
Haduuuhhh ga masalah! Gurunya bakalan langsung ngoreksi kesalahan kamu kok. Aku juga begitu. Kadang salah ketik, salah tata bahasa, salah menempatkan subjek, tapi langsung diperbaiki dan diralat sama mba Dini. Atau, mba Dini pasti nanya begini kalau aku tetap ngotot kalau saya yang benar : “Are you sure?” Remember: Think before you speak!
